Loved this book. It was good to read about the people who helped the boys in the travels to find work.. The good and the bad people they met. I will remember the family with the small children and the two young girls at the mercy of the very bad men.I now understand why my dad always was generous to those in need. He and my mother experienced some of it when they were young.
