I am up to page 43 and I am so in love with this book. I can’t stop reading it. The very descriptive words show you how the world really looks from the author’s point of view.You can smell the pizza the way its described and see the salmon with the goat cheese as Jesse bought to Hunter. The way that Jesse cares for Hunter is so sweet. He covers for him when he just can’t face the world and wants to know if he has someone in New York that he can truly depend on like him. He really listens to what the other characters have to say. He is fearless and genuine. Jesse is my favorite character. I love when Jesse says “ Good company is the best remedy. With the right people in your life, it get easier, even when life gets lonely”. I believe that is the most honest statement. My best friends have that same affect on me. They are always there to make me laugh and smile no matter what kind of day I have had. I have no idea where I would be without them. This book is light and funny. A great book to pick up if you want to smile and laugh. Who doesn’t need that. I know this author on a personal friend level so I know this book was therapeutic for her to write. Reading this book makes me feel happy. My favorite part so far is on page 105 when one character admits to another that he have feelings for someone. I see the smiles rise across the faces in my head. When the heart knows it feels love your body atomically feels happy and I loved the romance of it because it was the characters birthday. I love how one of characters got Thai tea because it reminded of me when I tried Thai Tea for the first time with my boyfriend. It helps calm your mouth down after the spicy food. It taste delicious. I also loved how he got the character an adoption paper for a dog that is the cutest gift. I want a dog so badly I would love that gift. This book is so relatable. These characters trust each other with so much. This character only knew the other one for a few months and they became the love of each lives, so much so that he made him his emergency contact. This novel gives you faith in love, trust and friends. Don’t want to spoil the ending but it is definitely a magical one.
