My daughter (age 10) and I loved using this book as part of our Advent season. We read part of it in the morning, and then said the prayer at night when we lit the Advent candle. It was brief enough to read at breakfast and discuss as we ate - a good conversation each day that kept us focused on the more important aspects of the season. It extends the good feeling of Christmas, reminding us that there is more to it than just Christmas morning fun, which can be a bit of a letdown when it is all over. We really enjoyed it.
