First found this in my local library and knew I'd found a keeper. Ordered from Amazon and have consistently used this book for the 3 months that I've owned it. Clear instructions, variations for different skill levels and easy to follow photos on 120+ pages of asanas, alone. Great introductory section on the true yogic science (including the 4 paths, 8 limbs and other principals) BUT one complaint - pose descriptions lack Sanskrit terms. For one attempting to delve deeper into yoga, this can be an annoyance. If, however, you are learning from scratch and find the Sanskrit terminology not all that important, I'd say that this is about as good as it gets.
