I'm sure that any college student to-be experiences a range of emotions about their upcoming shove into the "real world" away from their parents. I am a recent high school graduate who will be starting college this Fall, and my emotions ran the scale from excitement to downright fear. Most particularly, I'm afraid of living in a new environment, with a stranger I don't know, more than 500 miles away from home. I grew up essentially an only child, so I've never really had to share anything of mine, let alone my room and life. That's why I picked up this book, and reading it calmed me down because it gave me many, many tips and tricks on how to keep a good relationship with your roommate, how to deal with various situations, and what my "rights" are when it comes to sharing a space. It covers safety, guidelines, being "sexiled", and even the accuracy of college roommate match-making (in placing together people who will get along tolerably well or better). This book will be an indispensable guide to my future life, and I highly recommend it to any college student out there.
