I have bought this book ($25 early July) after Jamie Oliver's Cookbook club recommendation, and I do not regret this purchase! The book is gorgeous, soft colours and beautiful pictures. The recipes are homey, easy and full of comforting flavours I grew up with. I like the tips, the substitutions, the dinner party ideas, and that the measurements are in metric system (with imperial "translation") :)The introduction brought me to tears. It brought back so many loving memories of moments I took for granted growing up. My Vietnamese grand-mother passed away late December 2020 and I remember every time we went to visit her, no matter what time of the day (morning or afternoon) she would welcome us with “there’s rice ready if you’re hungry” ?.Thank you Uyen Luu for this wonderful collection of recipes ? cảm ơn
