I've always glanced at C&C from time to time - but had been enjoying her content a lot more recently. I wanted to read one of her books but was put off by a LOT Of negative reviews. I was really pleasantly surprised, guys. I don't know if some of the negative reviewers just really don't like Emily personally, but I thought this book rocked. I thought it contained some really clever and useful tips that I'd not read on her blog or other design books. I liked that a lot of it was attainable, but still very well thought-out. And. If you're here with us in 2016, you probably know that a lot of blogs are about shopping! So yes, a lot of her ideas will have you thinking of new things to buy, and I'm okay with that. Overall I thought it was a really fun and enjoyable read that I've referred to quite a few times while trying to 'elevate' my home. Happy reading!
