Sherri McConnell has given the begining-to-experienced quilter a lovely book of various projects: some are quilts, some are pillows and there are home projects as well as projects to give for gifts. I found many that I wanted to make, especially her tote bags and carry-alls.Her instructions are clear, concise and make the projects easy-to-follow. I also liked the bit of her quilting history, as well as descriptions of the projects and often she would place a little hint or tip alongside the project. One last compliment: loved the photos and illustrations.I have many quilt books, but some are just read for ideas and then put away on the shelf. McConnell's book is one that will come out again and again, for not only are her projects well-designed and good-looking, but they are useful.
