Yikes!, I'm glad I bought this when I did recently-under $20. Somehow I missed this release. Frankie Miller's had some awful health issues and I thought there were no more recordings to expect. I'm guessing these are demos he did (there is a new duets album about to be released from that source). But how is this album? It's nothing short of great. The vocals are very fine, the backup is sparse on some songs which is a good thing. Just beautiful singing. Some other songs rock out really well. This is certainly not one of those "leftovers" albums. The last couple songs are my least favorite but overall this is a special gift I never expected to get.
