If you've purchased other plaid stencils you find this is the same good quality. It is small, but like any product purchased online, if you've read all the information and didn't just look at the photo and make assumptions, then you know what to expect. The actual design is 3-5/8x 3 inches. While sometimes you have to look down in product information and hope that is the size of the item and not the size of the package, in this case they've listed the size in the description by the photo. It states the item is a 4x4 inch stencil and that IS the size of the plastic stencil. (the product information lists it as 5.5 x 4.8 x 0.1 inches--the size of the cardboard the stencil came on).Very pretty. Just a tad smaller than I had thought.Easiest to do with a nice repositionable mounting spray and spray paint. I tried to roll the paint first and then I tried to use a brush but each time I had running paint. Great pattern and very durable! I will be using them again!Small but just the pattern that I needed. I'm stenciling outdoor cement and it is holding up well with the heavy paintHave not used it yet but it not what i expected and then I reread the product details and realized,i was wrong. So it is actually as wxpectedI purchased this to use as a design on a jacket. Love the design, but it's a little difficult to use. The strips are so thin it's hard to tape down, so I had to trace it on, then paint.Big and fun!!! Has a "mask" included for bringing off SEVERAL different effects. Have been having and will continue to have fun with this one. It is the kind of stencil set that will go in my arsenal for years of use!!!Smaller than expected , but pretty designIt’s an alright stencil.
