I use one by my apartment door and one in my closet.A solution for small spaces, design is good BUT I hesitated keeping it because it is expesive for two pieces of metal.I am not coordinated at all, but I was able to put this together quickly and easily! Four little screw and you are good to go. This fits perfectly in my entryway and holds the shoes I wear the most. No more shoes piled in the entryway! I couldn't be happier!!This shoe rack is made of metal and is very sturdy. I find that instead of holding 3 pairs of shoes per level, the most is generally two with a spare amount of room for about one shoe. My shoes are 12's so being larger the capacity is reduced. If you use to hold all women's shoes, then it may work as advertised. So, for my usage having a mixture of large and small footwear the reduced capacity makes this somewhat pricey just to stack four other pairs in the same floor space.Due to a missing screws, I’ve sent this back for a refund. It’s been a week. Please confirm if the refund is proceeded.I love the design and functionality of the product. Great quality too. But is too narrow for big men's shoes size. I'm size 11 and I had to switch left with right foot to make them fit. Any bigger size won't fit in pairs.It arrived without any bolts or screws to hold it together. I wanted to return it, but it was impossible to repackage the two halves once they were removed from the box. Unfortunately, there’s not an option to return it without the box. I gave up and am hoping it’s possible to find screws to repair it myself. It’s very disappointing to have to have my time wasted trying to fix this. It seems like a great design if it had just arrived with all the parts.I bought it at a discount, this is someone else's return, without screws and stickers. I contacted the customer service of yamazaki official website for help and they sent me a replacement. This brand has good after sales service.Yamazaki is a superb brand and this item shows the usual, sturdy, immaculate Japanese design for which they are celebrated. This item will hold five pairs of shoes very neatly and with a very small footprint. It elevates the shoes and allows air to circulate around them which I find ideal for wet running shoes after time in the rain. I also like that leather shoes are able to breathe on this stand. The colour is a very neutral white, not stark or obtrusive and has a quality matte effect that looks very good in my small hallway. It is not ideal for boots, even small women's boots with a high ankle but is useable nonetheless. I would recommend this item without reservation however. I hope this was helpful.This shoe rack has a great minimalist design and there is virtually no other vertical shoe rack like this out there (please tell me if you find one!). Assembly is simple but once I affixed the top and bottom parts together with the 4 screws provided, to my dismay the top part still moves/wobbles when nudged. Did another check to ensure that all 4 screws are in position and have been tightened as far as they can go, but nope, still wobbles. Thought I may have received a faulty unit so Amazon kindly sent a replacement, but the 2nd unit had the same problem too.Much as I want to keep this, I did not feel it was up to standard (esp given the pricing) so back it goes. I think the problem has to do with the holes in the bottom part of the rack not having screw threads (whereas the holes in the top part of the rack do), thus compromising the screws' purchase. Manufacturer, please look into this!This shoe rack is attractive, looks like it would be sturdy enough (I didn’t actually put it together as am returning it), and would be good for a small space. However, it looked ‘lost’ in a more open space by my front door. It also arrived with a few marks / scratches unfortunately.Shoe rack is a sturdy well-made item, although it seems rather expensive. It's main feature is the small amount of space it occupies, so it fits into an odd corner. The main issue is that it does not take larger shoe sizes. Size 9 shoes fit in with a struggle and any size larger would not fit in.Lovely shoe rack and ideal for corners for small spaces, got mine in the porch. If you've got huge feet I wouldn't buy this as the depth probably wouldn't be large enough for really big shoes but I'm only a UK 5 with three children so it's perfect. Massively overpriced for its design and size, but I paid that money because I needed that specific size. Looks lovely and the metal is thick and strong though.
