The manufacturer needs to improve the shipping box to protect the corners better. Mine had some damage but it is hidden so you don't see it. The finish is nice and the instructions were easy to follow, it will take four or five hours to assemble. I didn't like the plastic button feet, rubber would have been a better alternative. The drawers are not high enough to store a dvd on its edge you have to lay it flat. Overall it is nice when it's all put together. I like the open shelf i was able to place my center speaker there along with my receiver and dvd player. It has a sleek profile and it fit perfectly under my wall mounted TV.
