Good value at a good priceThis is an interesting concept for Kong. The movie is actually episodes spliced together from the television show. The movie drops you into a relationship between Kong, two young friends, and an Atlantean girl who lives on a small island named Kong Island. This story does not go into the originals of the relationship between the characters. All we know is that this is not the original King Kong, and he lives on an island with his human friends, animals, and dinosaurs. It explains that the original Kong was once the King of Atlantis long ago. This movie has no time period in Kong history, and just about everything is unexplained. There is a whole lot of plot missing and lots of confusion. This film is good for little kids, but not adults. There is musical numbers miserably wanting to be like Disney, but fails on every level. It is just annoying and has no place in the movie or show at all. If you like Kong and a fan I am not sure you will like this. It's a coin flip really. I bought it to add to my Kong collection, but I don't think I will ever sit and watch it again. It is good for a laugh, and to wonder what the producers were thinking when they made this show.Disc Works At Least.this is a good movieSeller did a great job with sending item quickly and service was excellent, its just that the DVD itself was boring Kids didnt like itit did not skipGreat for my collection.A fun dvdBrillantIt's all right. Nothing too much of plot holes, and enjoyable in its own way. Though the ending is a little fuzzy as to what happens, but it's actually got some songs in it.Contrary to what imdb says, Dr. Jenkins and Professor De La Porta are NOT in it (besides, it's set after the final episode so if De La Porta was in it, that'd be a huge plot hole).
