I've been a fan of Martyn Joseph's music for best part of 30 years. The reviews which have been posted previously are spot-on on two scores. Firstly the album marks a high point in Martyn's song-writing craft. Wonderful, poignant, soul-searching lyrics - some courtesy of Stewart Henderson - and memorable tunes (moreso than later offerings such as Vegas). But secondly the production quality is inexplicably poor. So five stars for the music, one for production - but the songs are so good it still merits four overall. If you get a chance to see Martyn Joseph play live, you should jump at it - it's always an emotional rollercoaster, but always ultimately an uplifting experience.
