Love this vanity stool. I have an antique vanity with a full length mirror in the middle and small rounded work space at the bottom of it. I was having a hard time finding a stool or chair that would fit it well. I was temporarily using an antique one that was given to my daughter but even that was not working very well as it was to wide to tuck into the vanity space. This one was the perfect size, shape, height, even the color matches my decor in my bedroom (soft gray and yellow). The legs are a bit boring looking imo but the cushion more than makes up for it. It's squishy but firm. The back rest is perfect for not creating clutter (I have a nasty habit of draping clothes on the back of the chair before) but gives a great simple and elegant look and someplace to grab to move. It's a smidgen darker in person than in the picture and has a very nice light soft not scratchey weaved/tweed feel to the material. Can work for modern or classic decor
