I purchased this back in December and it is already pretty flat however I am still getting a great night sleep sleep with it. I couldn’t get comfortable and was always waking up in pain so I purchase this pillow and to my surprise slept great. I would have given this five stars had it not been for the fact that it flattens rather quickly.So, let me start by saying that I am a research junkie. I don’t buy anything online anymore without doing some kind of research.I am also a back sleeper. My fam actually picks on me because they say I look like I am laying in a coffin when I sleep. (Always flat on my back, ankles crossed, with arms crossed on my chest.) I got to the point in my pregnancy where I could no longer sleep on my back, and when I tried to lay on my side, I woke up in a matter of an hour with horrible hip pains, and the most painful Charlie horses in my calves. So the only sleep I got was sleeping upright in a sling chair, which made my legs and ankles swell, and I would never stay asleep more then a couple of hours. My nurse mentioned trying to get a pregnancy pillow, so of course my research began. I literally stayed up all night and read reviews and blogs for 10 hours before finally settling on this one. (Which was half the price of some of the others I was thinking of getting.) I wanted something that held it’s form, that kept me from rolling on my back during sleep, but that prevented all the hip pains and Charlie horses.I have had this pillow for a little over a month now and it’s a GOD SENT!!!! My hubby can still sleep next to me and has room, (We have a queen sized bed) but I have all the support I need in all the right areas. The first night I slept with it, I slept for 6 hours straight. Didn’t have to use the bathroom every 2 hours, no painful hips, and no crazy Charlie horses. It literally keeps me in the most perfect, optimal position, in all the right areas, and is like a giant hug all night long. My daughter actually is asking for one for Christmas this year now. Lol (And she is not pregnant but does get back pains sometimes from sleeping.) And I truthfully plan on keeping this well after my pregnancy is done with. (I am 32 weeks now.) It’s just so versatile. I can use it to sit up in bed and watch tv, prop myself up so I can sleep on my back without laying flat, or sleep on my side which is extremely comfortable, and I never thought I would ever say that. I am 5’5 and it is the most perfect length and size for me. And the cover was easy to put on and take off for cleaning. This is the most amazing product I have ever used, and I only wish I would have found it a lot sooner.I am about 7 months pregnant and I have chronic back pain and symphysis pubis dysfunction, so I was in desperate need of something to help me sleep at night. I first bought one of those really thin pregnancy pillows from Babies 'R' Us, but it did absolutely nothing for me, so I returned it. I browsed a bit on here and finally settled on this one. This slip cover was a wee bit aggravating to put on, but it only took me about 5 minutes to put it on. The material is slightly scratchy, but it's not that bad. It is great for in between my legs and for back support. I am, however, having some real issues getting comfortable with my head and neck. I have used a feather pillow my entire life, so I find it very difficult to find a comfy spot for my head. It is too firm for me, so I put my feather pillow over it. This makes it softer for my head, but causes my neck to be at an awkward angle, which makes it a bit sore in the morning. This is probably only because I am adding the extra pillow on top. I have only had this pillow for a few days, so I hope that it will flatten out a bit over time; this would make it perfect. It definitely helps with my back pain and my pelvis pain. I was also struggling with trying not to lay on my back while sleeping, so this is great for me since it elevates my back slightly. That way, I can still sleep on my back without restricting oxygen and blood to the baby. If you don't have a king size bed, it will take up a huge portion of the bed. In our king size, it takes up exactly half of it. It is also kinda hard to get out of the bed when I have to get up a million times a night to pee. My husband loves snuggling me in it, because it gives him some extra cushion to lay on when we spoon. For someone who doesn't use super soft head pillows, it will probably be perfect. It will be great for nursing, too, because I can wrap it around myself. I will likely continue to use this pillow, even after I am no longer pregnant.It doesn't only works foe pregnant women it works for elderly women too thank you Amazon for always having things I needThis pillow was heaven sent. I needed something to give me support after surgery and this pillow delivered above and beyond. The best thing I ever purchase.I watched a video that showed someone positioning a pillow like this so they could sit up in bed comfortably. I am suffering with allergies and sinusitis this year. I wanted to find a way to keep my head and chest elevated so I didn't wake up ever 2 hour gagging and coughing on my own secretions. This has not only helped with that but has solved a problem I am having with an electronic lazy-boy style chair. In fact I'll be buying another one. I sleep head and chest elevated and don't end up sliding down into a neck wrenching weird position. When placed in my broken lazy-boy chair I can make myself comfortable. I don't know about pregnancy use but if you need help keeping your head and chest elevated or padding a chair I highly recommend this pillow. The cover is a little stiff going on but I think that is why it stays in position so well. I read some reviews that didn't like the zipper however I think the zipper is small to keep it from annoying you while you sleep.
