Christmas in Connecticut (1945) DVD by Warner Home Video - Classic Holiday Romance Movie for Family Gatherings & Cozy Winter Nights

This is one of my favorite holiday movies, and Miss Barbara Stanwyck is one of my favorite actors. I usually watch this on one of the cable channels, but I haven't seen it advertised yet this season. So now I can watch anytime I want to. Delightful, funny and with a stellar supporting cast. Especially Sydney Greenstreet who worked with S.Z. Sakall in Casablanca, and also Sakall in Ball of Fire with Stanwyck and Gary Cooper. But I digress, if you have not seen this wonderful holiday movie you have missed a treat. Its reminiscent of the screwball comedies of the 1930's, but more sophisticated. Dennis Morgan as the ship wrecked sailor looking to spend Christmas with a real family, and everyone else trying to make a happy memory out of a make believe situation, is a warm, feel good, very merry movie. A real treat. ??☃️♥️
