Anne-Marie Sanderson's Letter from Home makes it's way from an attic on the windy Cumbrian coast, via a Swiss alp and a mid-Western cornfield, to London where Anne-Marie and her guitar currently reside. Over the last two years they have been exploring the city's nooks and crannies together, with a constant stream of gigs, charming audiences with songs from her new album along with material from her 2007 album Navigating By Stars and her 2009 EP Lullabies. Her influences are many and varied, the result of a richly musical upbringing, and many favourable comparisons have been drawn, most notably that of Joni Mitchell. Although she wouldn't mind spending all her time teasing melodies out of thin air and finding the right combinations to accompany them, Anne-Marie is currently finishing a degree in music that involves more words than notes. This makes her even more excited to be getting out there and gigging in support of the new album.
