My daughter loves this book. I bought it used and it arrived as an obvious school library book, but that actually gave it more charm and was very well bound to endure years of kids' use. Very satisfied. The story, the pictures, the texture of the paper and the binding was all great for childhood memories. I recommend this author's other stories too.This was my daughters favorite book thirty years ago. I just bought it for her daughter who loves owls. This is a book that will last the ages.This book is what started my love of reading. Owl is a wonderful character. He has a few stories in this book that any child would love. I read this book before bed every night as a child.I bought this as a gift because it was my younger son’s favorite book as a little boy. Totally charming.This book was one I remember my mother reading to me as a child and I am so glad I was able to find it, now I can read it to my kids when the time comes.Have always loved this book. Had it for my children and now my grandchildren. Cute, sweet, funny and for small people - seems to totally engross them as they seem to really like "Owl" and identify with a lot of what 'He" goes through.My 7 year old grand daughter now reads "Owl" to me in the evening.
