Description

EverTrac Cervial Traction Device (CTD) is your ultimate cervical traction unit that is safe to be used in the comfort of your home. This device provides you with effective traction or stretching to your neck (cervical area) with direct tractional force toward the occiput or back of the head to effectively reduce strain on the jaw and neck. This Ready-to-Use EverTrac CTD is different to and better than what is currently available in the market (2015) and below is just a few advantages of the EverTrac CTD over other types of CTD: a) Effortless Traction can be obtained with just a few turns of the traction knob. Direct Cable Technology enables Precise & Actual Traction Force rated upto 50 lbs. b) Just "TURN" the Traction Knob with only approx. 1~2 turns and walla, it is already pulling against the back of your neck! c) EverTrac CTD DOES NOT require air as the medium to drive the base plate. Instead, Direct Cable Technology is used to provide you with the best and most accurate traction force required as prescribed by your doctor or health professional. d) Since NO AIR is required by the device, there is NO Air LEAKAGE. Just turn the traction knob once until the scale reaches your doctor's prescribed traction force. Once you complete a session, simply press the "Release Button" and you're done. IMPORTANT: DO NOT go beyond the recommendations of your doctor or health professional. Whether intentionally or unintentionally, if you go beyond these recommendations, an existing condition may worsen or become more serious and even cause additional injury. Indications for Use The EverTrac Cervical Traction Device is intended to treat a musculoskeletal or neurological impairment of the cervical spine to relieve pain, relax muscle spasms, and decompress spinal structures. THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST INVESTMENT I HAVE EVER MADE!!!im 35 female. when i was a kid my c6 and t4 was injured. 4 yrs ago it decided to get so fussy the doctors started to test me for lupus and multiple sclerosis. turned out being neurological and 5 small bulging discs that equaled 1 large bulging disk. both c6 and t4 is covered in blood, a benign tumor, a hemangioma. SOUTHERN DOCTORS do no believe hemangiomas cause nerve problems like compression or pain. however if you go north, east or west they will tell you too read the actual medical studies written on this subject by many many doctors. i could not drive out of state to have sclerotherapy done in the condition i was in so i invested in this. there are no studies claiming this would help me, all i knew was that i felt like i was in a vice, crushed from the top of my head down to between my shoulder blades. when i tried decompression as my last resort. lying there in the first moments of some kind of releif i knew i either needed it dew to something not found or for my sanity for releif.in the year i have had this i have not regretted it not for a second. when i started i was paying a chiropractor to set me up to theres for 35 bucks a pop 3 times a week and it wasnt enough! after 3 months all of my savings ran out as i was having a hard time working. general repetitive labor.. hard worker... suddently i couldnt lift my right arm. i was peeing on myself, i feelt like my arm and leg was behing burned or stung, some days i couldnt stand or walk and the pain in my neck felt like a cross between a sword being lunged downward into my spine and some one putting a hot pan from the oven on my neck. i have never had pain except period cramps and migrains but this was something completely new to me.my 6 months of using this device 2 times a day im now back to work 40 hrs a week. not doing what i used to do but working, bringing money in. as long as i do not sit or have to be in car rides more than 5 min at a time and i sleep well at night and do not raise right arm quickly i manage. however 4 sentences ago i can tell sitting here doing this has been too much. my advice if you have neck and thoracic problems i would go to chropractor first 6 times and ask what settings they do. know how much pull there putting you on, figure out if the pull flat 180 degrees is better for you than say 90 because depending on whats botthering you will depend on what will make it pull were you need it the most. and it will take time to figure this out. you have to be patient! i would also advise that if you have people home when you do this make sure they cannot enter the room as you are stretching your neck!!! one flintch or nudge to this device hooked up to your neck can result in permanent damage! you want to tell every one to not knock! stay away! you lock the doors! put calming music on and do not speak! , the more you relax the better your results will be! yes do not speak, it requires using muscles that are being strained already. so relax!down fall is the pressure gauge does not tell you the pound weight like the devices at the chiropractors offices, or as advertised here. (YOU MUST GO BY HOW MANY CLICKS!) I DO 10 CLICKS, REST THREW 1 SONG, THEN 5 CLICKS, REST ONE MORE SONG, 5 MORE CLICKS, AND REST FOR ONE MORE SONG. THEN I PUSH THE BUTTON AND SLOWLY TWIST IT DOWN TO VERY BOTTOM. THEN I REST FOR THE COARSE OF ONE MORE SONG. THEN I GET UP AND ICE MY NECK, SHOULDERS, AND BACK FOR 20 MIN FLAT ON THE BED. AND I DO MEAN FLAT, NOT PLAYING ON YOUR PHONE! IF YOU HAVE A DISC OR SPUR YOU WILL WANT TO DO THIS WITH OUT IRRITATING AND LETTING THE SOFT TISSUE REST AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE OTHERWISE YOU COULD MAKE YOURSELF FEEL WORSE!. WHEN I DECOMPRESS I LAY FLAT, SOME PREFER TO BEND KNEES WITH HEALS AT BUTT. I DO NOT FIND THAT I GET RELIEF FROM THAT POSITION. I ALSO DO THIS ONCE IN THE MORNING. AND ONCE AFTER MY NIGHT SHOWER , 1 TO KEEP MY DEVICE AS CLEAN AS POSSIBLE AND 2 SO THAT I CAN HAVE MY NERVES IN MY SPINE RELAXED THE MOST AT BED TIME TO ENSURE THE BEST SLEEP THUS FEELING BETTER THE NEXT DAY!!! I DO HOPE THIS HELPS SOME ONE IN DESPERATE HELP FOR PAIN RELIEF WITH OUT OPIATES AND OR SURGERY.update. it's been 4 years with pain now. almost 2 years with this device. when I started decompression my pain level was an 8 average. I was sleeping about 4 hours every 3 days. and yes that's confirmed by sleep doc. when I first made my above review I was about a 6 pain level. now I'm at a average level of 4. I now only pull 10-15 clicks twice a day 7 days a week to maintain pain controle. as long as I do not sit, run, jog, or drive or be in moving car I do not have any major nerve pain so yes I stay moving till its time for bed. this is how I cope. however constantly being on the move or laying flat all the time is not exactly an ideal life but at least the pain is maintained to a tolerable state as I was getting to the point of preying for death it hurt so bad. with no relief you feel life is over. but feeling better has had me almost back to normal. pain changes ppl. fear of the pain makes you feel crazy. no sleep makes the pain and stress worse but will make you crazy! no one's pain should ever be a laughing matter and life should never need be takin for granted. if you are like me and you have no options try decompression at your doctors office and if after 6 weeks you see improvement and know this will be long term treatment I would suggest buying this. every day I worry mine will brake. I say is this the day I have to go with out releif? and it says nope, click click click;) aahhhhh releif!
