I had to write a review seeing how many are down on this movie. No this is not high-tech, nor flashy; it is just the opposite. This is a very authentic look at life in a small town, but it could be any small town anywhere. If you are from a big city you probably can't relate. I've lived in three big citys, but was born in a small town, and was only there till my teens, but I could still relate to the tone of this movie. The way it was made reminds me of a Hallmark movie without the cheesy ending. There is sentiment, better acting,I thought the acting was fantastic, the camera work wasn't progressive but the story was good. Not a happy ending, not a sad one either, it leaves it up to you to hope and imagine. I'm giving this movie 5 stars because it was believable, good acting, ..a bit of hope given to a dying small town is nice to see. Sure it could have been better with a bigger budget .People will call this dry, this is a slice of one towns small life. I liked it. And yes I did care for all the characters, that says a lot!
