Update: manufacturer states they don’t have replacements for side rail and offered no other help. I went to hardware store and had to repair myself.Con: This is not a platform bed as originally advertised. You definitely need a box spring which was not mentioned anywhere online. So don’t forget to factor that into the price of item. (Amazon was great at helping me with this issue)Now, I’ve had it for less than a month and a side rail is broken already. Looks like manufacturer defect instead of shipping issue. hoping the manufacturer will send a replacement ASAP.Pros: beautiful and stately bed. The blue upholstery is true color to online pic and doesn’t look or feel cheap. If it weren’t for issues mentioned before; I would give 5 stars and recommend. I’ll update my review after the manufacturer addresses my broken side rail.
