This book stands out in the genre for its easy read and educational value.The book starts beyond convincing the reader of what the classics in the genre have done.I like how it normalises SRT and sessions through common sense, a narrative and/or case-study approach. This honours SRT as 'process- as art', rather than 'formula- as paint-by-numbers'.So it is a how-to book but as if you are learning from a practitioner in person, rather than from a professor in class or textbook.It covers many bases in a more-or-less Spirit Releasement Therapy: A Technique Manual context.The author goes further by providing many examples of the theory in practice and introducing new approaches and angles for practical application. (Never made so many notes in a Kindle book)The genre needs more books like these, the classics are good and well, but this book represents the work in the 21st century.Recommended if you are learning or expanding your practice. If I ever taught SRT, I would prescribe this book. I did not expect a book in this genre to leave me feeling positive... Maureen Smith?... but thank you.
